I've been using cdrecord for nearly 2 years now without any problems. It stopped working recently. The current version that I'm trying is from cdrtools2.0pre23 and prior to it was cdrtools1.11alpha40.
OS: RedHat8.0 LinuxKernel 2.4.18-18.8.0 glibc: 2.2.93-5 Hardware: CDR - Yamaha CRW3200E IDE using ATAPI SCSI Emulation. Athlon 1800+ The problems appeared after I upgraded to RH8. I've been using Fireburner without any problems however I prefer X-CDRoast which is a frontend for cdrecord. Below is the -v output from X-CDRoast. I get the same error when I run it from the command line. It includes command line and ATIP info. I've tried TAO, SAO, and RAW96R recording modes without any luck.
