One good argument comes from the psycho-analysis, whereby the experience of 'faith' and the perceived miracles are nothing more than just psychological illusions. This rationalism is no limited to atheist, believers employ such strategy to denounce rival beliefs. The method in which Mr Billy used to attack Islam seem to be based on such.
The reason we all wakes up from partisan political nightmare is, i believe, an awakening of a new consciousness in the human race. I guess that is why it is possible to have a Third Way philosophy coming along today. However, it cannot be the case where we get rid partisanship in political ideology only to find ourselves trap in a partisanship of faith again. This is my main concern.
