Ernie: The half million deaths caused by Muslims does not count the million and a half killed by the Pakistani army in what is now Bangla Desh in 1971. The vast majority of those killed in Bangla Desh were Hindus. I remember those news photos of the war's aftermath. Tens of thousands of women raped , pregnant after the :Pakis left. Just about all were Hindu young women. O. yeah, the news media just said "women." .Generic. Do Hindus kill others ? Yes. None of it is justified. But none of it is sanctioned in the Vedas or Upanishads or anything else. In stark contrast the Qur'an commands the killing of kafirs ( non-believers ). It says it is a virtue to kill non-Muslims. And while they are at it, it is perfectly OK to capture as many slaves as anyone wants, including women to use a .sex slaves Jews also kill others, certainly Israelis have done so. And wasn't Gaza a case of swatting a fly with a sledge hammer ? But the point is that, even considering the worst that Hindus or Jews do, sometimes Christians -- like the Falangists in Lebanon-- the fact remains that nothing compares with the wholesale slaughter perpetrated by Muslims, relentlessly, year after year, starting with the beginnings of Islam in the 7th century. Islam is a system of organized crime. Islam is a form of Fascism. Islam, by its nature is, murderous. That's the point I was trying to make. To compare Islamic morality to almost any other religion, given imperfections in all religions, you still end up with no comparison. Among other religions maybe Hinduism is most questionable, maybe Judaism, maybe the Sikhs, I don't know. But even at their very worst, none of these other faiths comes close to the criminality that is intrinsic to Islam. Not remotely. I just finished watching "Terror in Mumbai, " narrated by Fareed Zakaria. Excellent CNN production, news film from Mumbai as the carnage was happening. After seeing hundreds of dead people killed by a group of Muslim fanatics I really don't have any doubts about the true nature of Islam But, then, 9 / 11 taught me the same exact lesson. Not all Muslims are killers, but Islam breeds killers like no other religion on the face of the Earth. It also breeds rapists, wife beaters, slave ownership, and on and on. To make justifications for this travesty of a religion may be Politically Correct, but it happens to be utterly wrong in every other way. Billy As Kevin pointed out, whom you blame depends a lot on where you look and when you're asking the question. Seems to me that 500,000 is enough information to make the judgment that I have made. Where have I looked ? Ft Hood Iraq Afghanistan Mumbai London Madrid Kashmir Bali etc etc In so many words, almost anywhere you look, there it is No sure how much more evidence anyone could want. Is someone a Muslim ? You know the exceptions I allow for, but otherwise when learning someone is a Muslim my view is that he or she is about the same as a Nazi or Communist in the days of the Cold War.
