Ernie:
I have no idea whatsoever what the prediction you sent actually says.

We are doomed to governance by the wet behind the ears set ?
Banks will be replaced by borrowing from your buddies ?
Math-based courses will become obsolete and from now on
most school classes will be touhcy-feely group gropes ?

Well, I have a hunch these exaggerations are not the intention,
but there is a sense where you can interpret things this way.

But the idea of predictions for 2010 is a good one.
How about a call to RC-ists for one "best guess" forecast for 2010 ?
Deadline for entries, January 15 ? Sound like a plan ?
Might be fun.

Billy

2- Radical Remodeling:

The social media form of organization found in Facebook and Twitter spread
to business, healthcare, education and, politics. This is Gen Y’s
technology platform and the 16-27 year-old demographic cohort take social
media
with it as it takes power and moves through it’s life cycle.

Design Thinking, behavioral economics, social media, social business, and
new military strategy flow into a new paradigm of organization, process and
action. A culture-centric, behavior-focussed model replaces the current
rationalistic, math-based, theoretical economic model. Bye-bye to the Chicago
school of economics. Hello Harvard.

The valuation of “friendships” and relationships in general begins to
replace the value of transactions in the economy. Personal networks will
increasingly determine wealth.

New consultancies spread the word in business culture and healthcare.

The Ford Foundation sponsors a complete overhaul of the MBA curriculum to
reskill business school graduates, with a special focus on ethnography,
sociology and design thinking.
