Gents

I think it will be unfair to squeeze Trojans to play a game on Saturday.

My reasons are:

1- As a team we were informed that we have no games and some players made other
commitments
2- I think the teams which played on a wet Saturday helped to ease the problem
of fixture already. They should actually be congratulated for putting the
effort on wet court.
3- I would like to concur with Herbert that we would like not only to finish
the games but to enjoy the games. That is, they are some inevitable clashes of
strong teams which are a marvel to watch.

- These games are what makes basketball exciting for supporters. It is really
awful to see big teams playing it out just for the sake of qualifying to the
National finals.

Fixtures therefore should also be put in a way that supporters are enticed to
watch the games. On the other hand, teams are geared for the games.

Therefore, i see no reason why the stated dates of Basmal cannot be pushed! The
situation comes not because we want( i mean we could not stop the rain).

Hypothetically, i wonder it rains this weekend wouldnt you push the games to
another date? In lilongwe we are even lucky to have an indoor which we manage
to squeeze games during the week.

In short, i support Mr Chidaya's sentiments "Lets not just play games to finish
them, lets enjoy and protect the health of the players while we are at it. Its
not anybodys fault that we have found ourselves in this situation".

However, if the decison stands then Mpho try to raise a team for the saturday
game.
