I'm staying at the Hilton Embassy Row for $145 per night, but I don't know
what kind of strings our travel agent had to pull on that. Last time I was
there for an XML conference ('98) I paid $250+, and at last year's
conference in Boston the _conference_ rate was $210! The first night there
I paid full fare of $290. So, if you can get $150 anywhere near the
conference, I'm guessing you are doing ok.

I'm attending the Allaire Developers Conference in November.
The Marriot is a bit too expensive, can anyone recommend a
cheaper-alternaitive hotel, or a site that lists discount hotels?
I've had a look on expedia.co.uk and all the hotels seem to be �100 ($150)
upwards, per night.
