I agree .. it was kind of uncomfortable switching page formats like that.
Though, I know I was in the same site, end users might not be so cluefull
..... then again, they might not care one way or the other ;)

I agree here too. I've seen some of the backlash from adding advertising
after the fact. It wasn't pretty, but people got over it, like they almost
always do. Still, better to get them used to it in advance.
The only other comment/question I have that hasn't been addressed by Jim is,
why are your advertisement banners all ActiveX controls? It makes it very
annoying for those of us who don't allow ActiceX scripts to be run without
permission, to navigate your site. A pop-up box asking if I would like
such-and-such ActiveX scripts to be run showing up on every page visit is a
little bothersome. Considering that your target audience is computer users
who are generaly a little more technicly savvy than those that visit the
average web site, this could become a hinderance to repeat traffic.
Just a thought.
