I started out teach myself before I even got take any CS classes. I used my
math skills (see other thread) for my logic. I have always been able to
understand logic. Then after a few CS classes in college I and few other
math classes. I learned That I could pay to go to school or I could get
paid to go to work.
So I quit school and started working. I still take a class every now and
again, I am on the 19 year plan.
But the logic that I learned came from math.
