I liked the speach slices. Clear recording... Actually from when you spoke
or recorded after for the purpose of demonstrating what you said?
I've never known anyone to get offended by the word 'screwed,' but a friend
of mine explaining something about "mankind's rebellion against god and the
need for reconciliation" offended some elderly people because he was using
common language for his age group.
We had an advertisement here which used the word 'bugger' as a serious of
accidents happened. Fence pulled over. Clothes sprayed with mud. I don't
think it offended many Australians as it is just a part of semi-normal
speech (while lacking the common dictionary meaning) but the media kicked a
small fuss about New Zealanders not being happy when it aired over there.
I think Australians are more accepting... or have I been locked in this
office to long...?

I've decided that Lee shouldn't be the only one who gets the humor of my
comment, you all should. I've uploaded a fast mp3 file to HoF that has a
copy of what I said at the conference about commenting. Yes, I actually use
the word Hebrew in it (but then again, I also use the word Klingon).
