Okay. Gotta come right out and admit the dumb thing I did. I scripted a
database and ran the script in that database rather than the new database.
So everything got dropped and recreated. Not good.
Fortunately I have a copy of all the data on my local machine from two weeks
ago. The data file is still very large so the data has got to be there
someplace. I don't have any SQL backups, just the local copy created via
DTS.
Is there anyway I can restore this database to the point in time before
running this script? I've been looking through the SQL help but can't figure
out what I need to do. All the instructions seem to assume you have a
backup, which I don't have.
This is a 150MB SQL 7 database which I am managing remotely. I stopped SQL
server, made a copy of the data and log files and downloaded that to my
machine. I'd like to rebuild it here, if possible, and then upload and
reattach.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
