Uggh... commonwealth states stink :)...

4.5% isn't so bad since we pay 7% on other purchases in a 10 country 
region here (to build stadiums they raised the tax even though we voted 
it down +1% from 6%)..

Property taxes are some of the highest anywhere... and we certainly 
have a problem retaining youth...

uniformity in taxation might be the best idea :)
