When I get my paycheck I realize I work tons of hours and way more than
anyone I know.. I also realize that I in that two week period pay
between the feds, state and locals, taxes that amount to about 15$ per
hour based on 2 40 hour work weeks as a salaried position...
That to me seems completely stupid... and way too much... Actually that
number is probably more like $20... I just did an estimate based on a
pay stub and dropped decimals and other dollar portions...
Beyond saying that public schools suck because I have been there... at
the schools where the poor people live... I wouldn't send any children
I was responsible to them or the religious versions either.. home
schooling.... heard of it...?? Sure public schools where those middle
class folks live and upper classers live tend to be better on
average... they also tend to pay better to work there and general have
overall amenities that are greater for everyone.
I guess Judith and I should start living beyond our means? Move into
the suburbs and have more kids than we pay for... actually, what would
happen if we all started doing just that? Heck I might even qualify
for bankruptct if I try real hard.
