It's the gift that keeps on giving for me.
When I redesigned my site, I didn't get around to doing the book section (I
want to set it up in CF to make it easier to manage, and I just haven't
gotten to it yet). But even with the book links removed, many of my regulars
had bookmarked Amazon with my ID in the bookmark, so I continue to get
referral fees.
When I had the online store up, I would get between $100 and $150 per
quarter. Not enough to run a business on, but always welcome extra cash.
This was on a site that averages about 500 visitors per day.
