Cats are OK, but do they
chew the furniture,
mess the garden,
howl at the moon, bark at the slightest noise
and drink from the toilet?
give me a dog anyday, cause for all there quirks
they are still mans best friend

Subject: New kitty
We just got adopted by a new stray kitty today. Recently born, just barely
has its eyes open, and a head the size of a golf ball. I just can't turn
away a little thing that's hungry and scared, so I took her in and named her
"Pixel." She's a multicolored Tabby with ears big enough to fly on and
pretty blue eyes. She fits in my shirt pocket, which is a funny sight
because I'm a pretty big guy.
I already have six cats (all spayed/neutered, shots, etc.) that are all
outdoor, so this one's going to stay inside for a little while until she's
in good health and stronger. Then it's off to the vet for a little
snip-and-tuck and a couple of shots.
She's already imprinting on me, and follows me everywhere, three inches
behind. She's just discovering the playful delight of computer cabling, and
she immediately falls asleep and purrs when I lay back and put her over my
heart. She's like a little boat on a big sea, riding up and down with each
breath.
It's kinda nice having new life around again.
