I have 3 cats (2 are kittens) - and when they are good - they're great, but
when they're not - they are a great source of stress.

Much prefer my dog... (seems to think I'm the best person in the world for
some reason (misguidedly))

I prefer dogs myself, but I have to tell you that cats really do calm
you down after a stressful day. I just got two Siamese cats, the female
a seal point (Harley) and the male a blue point (Deuce) and they are the
greatest little creatures. I just bought them this towering play thing
with multiple levels and it's got a little tree house thingy on it too.
They play on that thing for hours. Like Adams, my cats follow me
everywhere; they're so personable and playful.

Anyway, it's a nice stress reliever. Enjoy Adam!

Cats are OK, but do they

chew the furniture,
mess the garden,
howl at the moon, bark at the slightest noise
and drink from the toilet?

give me a dog anyday, cause for all there quirks
they are still mans best friend

We just got adopted by a new stray kitty today. Recently born, just
barely
has its eyes open, and a head the size of a golf ball. I just can't
turn
away a little thing that's hungry and scared, so I took her in and named
her
"Pixel." She's a multicolored Tabby with ears big enough to fly on and
pretty blue eyes. She fits in my shirt pocket, which is a funny sight
because I'm a pretty big guy.

I already have six cats (all spayed/neutered, shots, etc.) that are all
outdoor, so this one's going to stay inside for a little while until
she's
in good health and stronger. Then it's off to the vet for a little
snip-and-tuck and a couple of shots.

She's already imprinting on me, and follows me everywhere, three inches
behind. She's just discovering the playful delight of computer cabling,
and
she immediately falls asleep and purrs when I lay back and put her over
my
heart. She's like a little boat on a big sea, riding up and down with
each
breath.

It's kinda nice having new life around again.
