Sean left the HoF mailing lists back when I started to run banner ads on the emails. He just didn't want to switch to text only. Point is, he's not on CF-Community, not on CF-Talk, not on any HoF list other than Macromedia-talk. He does post to CFCDev and CFGuru but the amount of traffic those lists do in a year can be compaired to a day or two for CF-Talk alone. He's not in 'the community' and can say all he wants but has no experience or data to back him up.
I do remember his last experience with the community when he 'attacked' CF-Talk on his blog. The responses were negative; against him. He was forced to take down his post, post something new without the ability to talk back and that was it. I think that after that he'll definitly think that we're a negative community.
And that's besides the snide attacks he made against you. (No, I'm not too happy with him)
