Yes. Having the time to dedicate to a single child for exploring while being
careful about where you go. If everyone can be like that then the world would be
a much better place. Problem is that people don't have the time or interest in a
lot of cases.
When Hinda Tova did her report on Ermines and researched it on the net, we took
the time to be there with her. We printed out the pages for her rather than let
her roam around. We made sure she didn't go to erminewithducktape.com.

As for net nanny, it's not perfect. A perfect solution for a religious user is
to have a firewall type program which is updated on a daily basis (or multi
times a day) with sites to block. This can be done mostly automatically with
bots to identify adult sites by keywords, google searches and content. Having a
reviewer on staff to double check helps as well. In addition, have the program
scan content as it's being downloaded for certain key words and have the content
blocked. If the blocking is a mistake (as per a reviewer), then it can be
whitelisted.
Such a program could be written in a few days, would take a few weeks to load up
on sites and can have settings on a per religion basis. It would make a mint of
money.
