by the Karaoke night.
However. that sort of thing seems to be a little more in vogue right now,
there is some live karaoke running, poetry slams, open mike, and the
standard jam nights springing up around town.

FWIW, if the Norwood is still open they used to have opend mike nights. That
might be a good option to try at some point.
