Great for you Todd!! Congrats.
On the question of other technologies and non-tech learning: I'm going for
Java training as soon as I can afford it (in the form of a B.Sc. degree that
uses Java as the primary language for teaching programming.)
I'm also doing my CF certs up to the level of Instructor, hopefully within
the calendar year.
As for non-tech education, I'm considering a few things; stone masonry,
medieval history, blacksmithing as well as educating myself in Canada's
political system and libertarian political philosophy. That and I'm reading
Lord of the Rings, loving my wife, working for NorthernObjects.com full-time
(new job BTW for me, no more Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters) and
teaching a night course in web server technologies at Sir Sandford Fleming
College. Not neccessarily in that order as loving my wife is my primary
concern. (Well, outside of my spiritual beliefs, but we have had that
discussion before)
I just heard about the disasters in the states. My heart and my prayers go
out the thousands involved and I pray for divine guidance for your
president. I hope none of our CF'ers were affected. Not because you are
CF'ers but just because I've known you as way cool people.
MGBY,
Guy
