As I wake up this morning and watch with horror the events that have
unfolded overnight.
I then come to the list to listen to what the heartland of America is
expressing. It comes as no surprise to hear such much anger, shock and
sorrow.
However viewing these events from outside america it comes as no surprise.
This is a country who uses its power and might constantly top run the world.
To back and support political dictators / takeovers of other countries. To
supply a major part of the worlds Arms trade. To back the growth of heroin
and cocaine in foreign countries. From my own countries point of interest to
have unfair trade agreements.
America pisses a lot of countries and people off. Mind you a few years ago
one of its own citizens declared war on his own country (Tim McVeigh). That
came as no surprise either. And in light of today's violence/act of war
there are people who wish to argue for the right to carry arms on commercial
flights. This is insane.
The reality is where there's guns there's violence. A nation that stomps its
authority all over the world at the same time parading its might and
dominance via its arms and tells everyone you must support us or we will
blow the crap out of you.
Some one asked for views of people outside the good Old US of A.
Once again I am horrified by the actions that have occurred and pray for all
those victims and rescuers.
Hugs of strength and love
Trent Shepherd

And I, for all the peace and love that is in my heart, will bring popcorn.
