I think we all are having a hard time focusing on work. That is why we all
seem to write 15 paragraph letters arguing back and forth. It is like
therapy. I have to wonder how difficult this must be for the thousands of
wives, husbands, mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, etc. Tens of thousands
who were directly affected and touched by this event.
Does anyone know if any of the people who normally visit this list have been
missing? Or were involved? Same for CF-Talk?
I have caught a lot for having moderate-to-liberal views on all this. The
media is so one sided, and I maintain that it is right of the middle, that
we did not see the thousands of Arabic peoples who have stood outside the
embassies around the world with flowers and prayers. We only see that one
video clip, taken in a war-torn village on the border with Israel of
impoverished, war beaten people celebrating. Thousands more were aghast at
this. Many Arabs are Christian, all throughout Lebanon, Syria and Palestine.
It is not peoples that are evil, it is people. Bin Laden is an exile from
his own land, his own country don't want him. Most others will not take him.
He cannot hide forever. EVEN it is not him, his past will make him a very
nice target.
