Fortunately, or unfortunately, I work in the news business, so since
Tuesday, I have been very busy.
I have been working 12-14 hour days, getting 4 hours of sleep a night and
not doing anything else but doing the news-part of my job.
When I'm not a newsie, I'm a programmer (I'm a reporter by training who
became a Web programmer later). It's true that I have not had my heart in
doing any Cold Fusion type stuff. I have a couple of important projects that
have not being getting the attention they need. But I'm glad I have the
distraction of working to disseminate news instead of just sitting and
watching.
At times, I've been very emotional about the whole thing -- saddened,
angered, sickened -- but I've also had very little time to indulge such
emotions. I am mostly about doing my job in as disinterested a manner as
possible. In the morning before going to work and at night, when I come
home, I check in on CF-Community. It's been a nice place to vent and
explore my own thoughts on this tragedy. I'm glad there are so many
intelligent people here to discuss with, debate with and share with.
Thank you all for being here.
H.
