I've been told that in every case it's been argued, the defined
meaning of the 2nd amendment gives people the right to bear arms only
as a part of a government sanctioned militia (so I guess the National
Guard would be it). So Koresh didn't have a right to bear the arms he
had in the bunker if you believe the upheld definition of the 2nd
amendment.

Granted, when the 2nd amendment was written, things were rather
different. Personally, I think every American should be allowed to
keep black-powder muskets in their home.
