Well this was just in response to the "so are we going to have no
laws" thread becoming "so when do we stop trying to please everyone".
The answer is we don't ever stop trying and we don't ever actually
achieve the goal of pleasing everyone. It's an impossible goal, but
the principal of it is what keeps us trying. So as an individual I
know that as long as I'm unhappy with the law, the law will change
(maybe not the way I want it to). And if that's the case, someone will
always be unhappy with the law, and therefore, the law will always be
changing.
