You are also now creating an entirely new federal arm for actually dealing
with these elections. You will now be required to standardize the election
laws across all states, standardize voting practices, and things which are
currently not standard at all. Doing this takes too much power away from the
states, cost billions of dollars.

Yes, that is correct, what i was suggesting was a plurality over a majority.

You are correctly describing things how they currently are....i was opining
on changes to that system.
