Subject: Gallup Polls
This is a bit of the bad news, at least for Democrats.
Just heard on CNBC that Bush is leading on the "Is a strong and decisive
leader" by a whopping 17%. Even more troubling is Kerry is losing the
"Does not change his positions on issues for political reasons" by 24%.
The one caveat is the poll was taken before the DNC. Perhaps when the
world realizes that Kerry was a Naval Officer who served in Vietnam will
change the minds. The one thing that might hold him back is that he is not
exactly endeared with his fellow Vietnam veterans. CNBC also reported
that he will arrive to the Fleet center via boat to re-paint images of
Kerry riding swift boats in Vietnam.
