hmmm what is the URL... Steven's other stuff and interaction in the
community has been admirable always...
May I suggest Steven three things to handle the verification:
1. Profanity filter... run it on the requested name.. throw them to a
retry page if such appears...
2. Email the new user and require them to click on a link to validate
the account..
3. Establish temporary use level for these new - unvalidated by you
users... they can read, but perhaps can't write stuff :)
