control of your cable box with a cable and some good software such as
girder. There are also some nifty new RF remotes out there like HYPERLINK

cts/firefly/ . But you can't really get the scrambled cable channels
directly into your computer with any tv cards yet...that I know of, at
least->

i have to turn to channel 200 on the tv/cablebox to be able to get it
to play on my pc??
that defeats the purpose, well 1.
still could record it.
there should be some sort of software to emulate a descrambler?
i mean if you pay for it already...
wonder if i called time-warner if they would give me advice?
