And the republican party has not been? I still cannot see the merits of
plunging the country into massive debt based on an ideological point. We
almost elmininated the crushing debtload that Ronnie Raygun and Bush Senior
saddled us with, when the junior bush decides to wipe out any gains. That is
not the most swisft of moves, especially now that there is a self declared
war that makes such discussion moot. To pay for this thing where is the
money coming from? Either the government will be be forced to raise the
recently lowered taxes or put us in a spiral of deficit spending that we
have not seen since the 1980's.
