How strong was your password on the account? Paypal should really
institute a stronger password policy as should many companies.
The only things I know for sure that happened are:
1. someone logged into my account.
2. they tried to withdraw from my credit card 1000
3. that was declined.
4. they withdrew 1000 from the checking account to my paypal
account
5. they then set up a payment to themselves on Paypal for the
1000
6. Paypal cancelled the payment to the person, but the money is
now in
limbo, cleared from the bank, but not yet posted in my paypal
account.
7. my bank has already credited my account.
I never have clicked on any email links ever.
