You can also adjust the time to display the recovery options after the
system has shut down due to a program error, but I recommend leaving
this at the default 30 seconds.
You can adjust what programs start when your computer does here as well.
Note though, that some trojan horses and viruses hide themselves from
this listing somehow (afaik) and you need to actually go to the Run key
in the registry for Software->Microsoft->windows in order to see these
.exe files, so don't thrust this pretty GUI method to remove unwanted
spyware/trojans from your startup.
