the exits both match up with left turn lanes on the road and a break
in the median strip. Busy road, not a highway, but the next thing to
it. Cross when you can kinda thing. So you would wait huh.
Interesting. Any other opinions?

You mean one of those things where you were on a side street, crossing
the street she was on and she was turning left from the street onto
the same street that you were on? It always annoys me when someone
makes it so that the person turning left can't turn in that situation.
I don't know what the law is, but it seems polite to let that person
make their turn before cluttering up the "break in the median strip."
