This is all just election-year politics. Both sides do it. The GOP
usually goes after security issues- scaring mom that her kids will be
bombed in their homes if the Dems win. The Dems usually go after
social issues- telling old people they will be out on the street and
lose all of their benefits if the GOP wins.
That's just the way it works. It's nothing new, either, it's only
re-enforced by 24 hour cable news.________________________________
