Hey Andy,
It's also a well known fact that east coast catholics were funding
guns and bombs for the Northern Irish. The point is that every
country has something to do with terrorism so the question is who are
the big threats to the US? The answer is Al Queda, so you want to try
to take them out.
To me the "war on terrorism" should have 3 measures:
1.) How many top Al Queda leaders have we captured or killed?
2.) How many Al Queda or Al Queda-like networks have we uncovered or shut down?
3.) How are the polls on America globally, and in the Middle East?
Our foreign policy should be focused on those measures. The invasion
of Iraq distracted us from the first 2 and had a backward effect on
the third.
But you're right - Mr. Hussein was no saint.
