is not a bug, it a result of the limitation of a video card only being able
to output to one overlay area. An overlay is the area that the OS gives to
the video card on which to directly write; it's a performance feature.

Subject: WMP 10 DVD oddity
When I'm playing a DVD with WMP10 the video blanks when the player is
moved to a secondary monitor. I know there are other dual monitor
users here so I was wondering if anyone else had seen this?
When I use any other player it works fine on the second monitor. And
looking at MS's site, the only reference they have to DVD playback on
a secondary monitor is that it can't play full screen.
