But I figured it out. MS hid the menus in a non-standard place. Bad UI policy.

Thanks for the help though. I figured it was an overlay issue, but I
didn't know you could set it since I didn't know there were menus.

On the plus side, I also found out now how to keep the player always
on top. Of course it's buried in the menus again so it's hard to
toggle on and off with a single mouse click like my other players. But
at least it's there.
