to want trucks in the first place because they could avoid the taxes
on cars. It basically laid the foundation for the SUV market.
Automakers are already making giant utility trucks like the Dodge Ram
GiantAssSomethingOrOther with really nice interiors. Heck, a coworker
drives one as her only vehicle. So I'm not sure if CAFE would help or
hurt.
