your whole argument is based on the premise that there is something
wrong with Mary Cheney being a lesbian. So what?
Granted there are people out there in Middle America who feel
otherwise, but tell me, don't I recall that Cheney himself made the
announcement maybe two months ago? I didn't pay much attention at the
time but thought he was trying to distance himself from his party's
policies. And good for him, I thought, it's the first sign I've had
that he is a real person.
But if so then she is already "out" and there is nothing wrong with
making reference to that fact. It is simply a fact. Yawn.
