I can't write for Dana, but one thing that would have made me feel that the
invasion into Iraq was justified is if we got UN backing and support from
all the G5 countries. At the very least if they didn't protest it so
much. Of course protest from certain countries doesn't mean the invasion
wasn't justified. Countries have political agendas and often these
political agendas aren't the most ethical course of action. But if the
actions of Iraq were so heinous, and the infractions so great and blatant,
and every other peaceful attempt was exhausted to the point than no country
could publicly denounce the use of military force without losing
credibility. This would have made me feel like the move was justified.
