Well - I just finished Sly Cooper today.  It finished very strong.

There was a slight sense of annoyance at the end as the main ending
"battles" didn't rely much on the skills you'd learned throughout the game.
This was a problem with the first game as well and although this one wasn't
as bad it was still an annoyance.

However the ending was satisfying.  The credits-sequence ends with the words
"That's it.  You've seen everything.  You're done.  Go outside." Which I
thought was great.

There are extras to unlock which you'll stumble on (basically if once you be
a level, if there's an extra, you'll see a padlock with the square button
symbol on it randomly appear.  Once you see it, press square to view the
extra).

The best extra by far is the 20+ minute documentary on the making of the
game.  You get to see interview bites with all of the voice actors and most
of the primary designers and programmers.

Of course I also got everything I could get in the game (all of the moves,
bottles and fence-able items) so one negative is that there's really no
reason to keep playing.  You can play any level on demand and could set
yourself personal challenges... but there just isn't much replay-ability
here once you beat the game (which isn't at all unusual for a platformer).

If you don't like buying games with limited replay-value then this one is
definitely worth a rental.
