Well its not like you have to do it alot. In alot of places you can
register easily. When i was in MD i registered to vote when i was 17
when i was at the MVA (Motor Vehicle Administration) and it was pretty
easy. The only time you have to register is if you move so that you
can vote in a new district. So it's pretty much the same as your
system except you don't waste all the paper from mailing invitations.
