Tell them to go with the XPS... After you upgrade the 9100 the price is almost the same for the XPS which needs maybe a video card upgrade at most... I was about 1 second away from ordering the XPS, but decided to just wait until I am sure of what I want. I hate all the pre-loaded software that comes on the DELL machines... I wish you could buy just the machine with the OS... Or even better, just the machine :-) The Powerbook looks like my choice so far.. Gotta check out the Aqua Data Studio to see if it will suffice in terms of DB connectivity. Michael T.
