I'm not a fan... but I do watch when things get interesting (the biggest
impact the games usually have for me is that my comic shop is only a coupla
block from Fenway and the crowds really inconvenience me). ;^)

At the same time my heart was in my throat for that last inning. I can't
even imagine how the decades-suffering fans felt.

All I can say is that I'm glad the games are in NY - we can do without the
riots here. During the last series fans pretty destroyed Kenmore square -
overturned cars, started fires and generally wrecked up the place.

That kind of stuff is one of the main things that turns me off of sports.

I gotta root for my team, but heck, if anyone DESERVES this series, it's
certainly the RedSox.
If you love baseball - you gotta love the way they are tenaciously
hanging on to this hope of breaking their "curse" and playing some
phenominal ball.
Shilling pitched a great game with a bad ankle.

I thought the Yanks we're going to pull one out of sky there at the very
end ... I didn't even watch the last pitches. I couldn't.

Really great game.

I hope the Yankees win tomorrow, but I won't be sad to see the RedSox
win it either.

Cheers,
Erika
