<rant> What does being clean shaven and tight haired have to with winning baseball games? I remember (from movies of course LOL) Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb, and others 'back in the day' being a bunch of womanizing, beer swilling, cigar smoking slobs. But they could play baseball like nobody's business. That is all that matters, isn't it? This stuff that has been surfacing about how the Yankees are a professional organization, and that is why they win games is crap. Does anyone get the feeling that the Yankees could care less about their teammates/fans/etc? They are all about winning, but the reason that they are winners is because they have a conglomeration of the highest paid, best players in MLB, not because they have a nice haircut. Whooo - now that was RANT!
