Yeah, it's why the US warns people of buying mexican vanilla extract.
We had a bottle that a friend brought back. HUGE bottle for no money,
so you can see the appeal. But I didn't need my insides exploding.

The cookies we made with it were pretty good but had a slightly odd
cinnimon-y flavor.
