Honestly the last bunch of messages in this thread really sicken me. I just took my six year old son to vote and he was more mature about it that some of the people on this thread.
I will support the president as selected by the process. Remember however that "support" does not mean "deify": no matter who wins I will watch closely and criticize and praise actions as they meet my personal feelings. I hope Bush does not win, I did not choose him as my CANDIDATE, but if he does win he will be my PRESIDENT. As such he deserves my respect and my scrutiny. Partisan extremism and hateful rhetoric is perhaps the biggest problem facing the country today. This kind of unhelpful, unconstructive, useless extremism that hurts this country more in the long run than any presidential term ever could.
