Who is "we don't" ? In the USA we keep hearing of 6-8 weeks of vaction time in European countries. Most Americans start with two weeks vacation time.
So we get two or three extra holidays I'd prefer the extra 4 - 6 weeks of vacation time. Besides I get 6 hoildays a year, New Years, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Sounds like you guys already have too many holidays....we don't. I'd even be in favor of axing President's Day in Feb, and moving that holiday to election day. At least the day off would be of some use then. I mean, what is there to do in February?
