He did win - with 56% of the vote. My parents are adamant Republicans,
but voted for him based on his campaign finance reform work and
Michels lack of experience. I think a lot of people were turned off by
Michels lack of experience. The primaries here were all about who has
more money to run better ads. Michels came out on top there, and his
ads against Feingold continued to be very slick.
