I lived in Minneapolis for about 18 years. I've lived in Madison now for about 10. Minneapolis was freaking COLD compared to Madison. Think -40F instead of -20F. Or 20 ft of snow instead of 5. (And for those of you playing along, Madison is just slightly north of Chicago.) That little lake near Chicago makes for more interesting weather though. Might be more temperate or might be way more snow. Either way though there's a breeze coming off of it.
Personally, I'd order my preference list something like: 1. San Francisco. 2. New York 3. 4. 5. 6 7 Chicago. And that's just because I really love a good Chicago-style hot dog. -Kevin > The weather is pretty good I think, but then I'm used to Wisconsin, > Michigan, Minnesota weather. I've heard my Chicago friends describe > Minneapolis like it's Greenland, so there IS a difference. Personally > I like snow from November to March, but I'm in a minority. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Special thanks to the CF Community Suite Gold Sponsor - CFHosting.net http://www.cfhosting.net Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:134791 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
