I have to wonder how many of those are signatures made by legitimate
voters. Like G said, it's a really good thing that internet polls are
completely useless.

> Remember, it's not about Bush or Kerry. It's about Democracy.

If that is the case then why not have a petition to investigate the
methods and practices of exit pollers, forecasters and election
reporting and commentating.

What amazes me is the fact that the majority of the complaints are how
different the exit polling data is as opposed to the actual election
results. This doesn't honestly suprise me, they're trying to forecast
the votes cast by an entire state by sampling some of the people that
come out of a few of the polling places in a couple of the counties.

The gaff that has been raised questioning the outcome of the 2004
election is completely politically biased... since x candidate won or
didn't win we're going to question the systems used by the people that
cast their votes. In 2000 it was the cacophony regarding
disenfranchised voters. This year I guess they're going to focus on
the technology.

(*sighs*) I'd prefer my tax dollars go to something more fruitfull.
